The Avoya Travel Academy provides entrepreneurs new to the travel industry with an educational experience that prepares you to successfully own and operate an independent travel business.

By registering and paying for BASIC PLUS Package, you are agreeing to inclusions, terms, and cancellation policies. Inclusions are listed below and you can click here to view the Terms, Conditions, Cancellations, and Refund Policy page.

Inclusions:

• Online access to the Avoya Travel Academy education platform for 100 days from date of purchase. 
  • The program can be completed in approx. 40-45 hours of studying and reading or listening.
  • The Travel Agent Education Powered by Avoya content is provided in both written and audio format for ease of use and learning.
    • Note: Test Your Knowledge Quizzes and the TAEC™ test are not available in audio format.
  • In this 100 days, education must be completed, as well as Travel Agent Education Certification (TAEC™) Test taken and passed successfully, if you wish to obtain a certification certificate. This is a program that you can use as an Independent Agency (IA) in the Avoya Travel Network of IAs or in relation to any other host or travel platform company.
• The online Travel Agent Education Powered by Avoya program consists of 20 sections with over 115 lessons, including test your knowledge quizzes for each section. Value $649.
  • This is a comprehensive, online, and self-paced program; helping you chart your own path to success.
  • Everything from a travel industry overview, geography, preparing for success, business ideas, types of leisure travel, industry suppliers, where do I go from here – PLUS more!
  • The Travel Agent Education Powered by Avoya content is provided in both written and audio format for ease of use and learning.
    • Please note: Test Your Knowledge Quizzes and the TAEC™ test are not available in audio format.
• Recorded Webinars from Industry leaders. Online presentations by leading travel industry experts, sharing their expertise and knowledge contributing to the foundation of your success.
• The Travel Agent Education Certification (TAEC™) and exam fee are included in your registration. Value $95.
  • Please note: The TAEC™ exam is not available in audio format.
• Norwegian Cruise Line:  Associate’s, Bachelor’s, and Master’s Degree Certifications
• Certified Accessible Travel Advocate Certification (CATA)
• Support from known travel industry leaders and experts with over 100+ years of combined travel industry experience.

Upon completion and passing of the TAEC™ exam within 100 days of registration, you will receive:

• TAEC™ Certificate
• Avoya Network Affiliation as an Independent Agency owner. Value $495. Once course is complete, you will work with the Avoya Network Expansion team to complete necessary paperwork to affiliate with the Avoya Network as an Independent Agency owner.

PLEASE NOTE: The Avoya Network Affiliation agreement MUST BE signed within 30 days of course completion, or there will be a $100 admin fee to reinstate.

The Avoya Network Licensing and Commission Services costs are listed below. Please note, subject to change without notice.

• Owner License Fee $49 per month
• Owner Administrative Fee $150 per year
• Weekly Commission Cycle Included ($240 value)

OPTIONAL: License Add-ons (per license)

• Marketing Add-on – Premium Included ($720 value)
• Sales Development Add-on – Premium Included ($1,260 value)
• Technology Add-on – Premium Included ($1,200 value)
• Avoya Client Access (Requires Premium Sales Development and Technology Add-ons) Included

OPTIONAL: Expansion (per license)

• Sub-License Initial Setup $120
• Sub-License Licensing Fee $49 per month
• Sub-License Administrative Fee $50 per year

Please Note: 

• At this time, the Avoya Network can only offer affiliation with Independent Agencies who reside in the United States. If you reside in a country other than the United States and pay for any Avoya Travel Academy courses and/or options, your Independent Agency will not be able to join the Avoya Network once complete.
• If you purchase the BASIC PLUS package, and for some reason your Independent Agency is not accepted for Avoya Network affiliation, a refund for the difference between the BASIC PLUS Package amount paid and the BASIC package will be processed.

Cancellation Policy

We are making a big investment in your professional development by allocating space for you within our education platform, even though we realize you can use the resources in this package to become associated with a different host or travel platform. We are confident that Avoya is by far the best choice out there for you and we hope you agree. Accordingly, the following cancellation policies will apply:

• All registration costs are 100% non-refundable at time of purchase.
• Registration is non-transferrable.

All products purchased from Avoya Travel Academy are NON-REFUNDABLE. This includes, but is not limited to, memberships/ subscriptions/registrations/ event registrations; online/ downloaded courses and resources; textbooks and reference materials; and/or resources not created by Avoya Travel Academy (3rd-party products).
