1. Introduction
Program Overview: Avoya Travel Academy (“Program Provider”) is proud to offer its Travel Agent Certification Program designed to provide comprehensive training and certification for individuals seeking to become professional travel agents. The program covers essential industry knowledge, practical skills, and professional ethics to equip participants for a successful career in travel and tourism. Additional products may be bundled with the Certification Package are subject to their own Terms and Conditions. Please ask EducationPlatform@AvoyaTravel.com for further details.
Eligibility: Enrollment is open to individuals aged 18 and above with a high school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience in the travel industry is not required, but a strong interest in travel and customer service is recommended. The Travel Agent Education Certification was developed for the US market. While all are free to buy the educational portion of our offering, becoming an Independent Agency in the Avoya Travel Network is only open to businesses residing in the USA.
2. Enrollment and Payment
Enrollment Process: To enroll, participants must complete the online registration form and agree to the terms and conditions. Once the registration is approved, participants will receive an email confirmation with instructions for accessing the program.
Payment Terms: Full payment is required upon enrollment to gain access to the course materials. Promotions and discounts are not combinable.
- If you are a First Responder (doctor, nurse, EMT, police, fire fighter), a member of the US Military, a Veteran, or a spouse of a Military member or Veteran – please contact us via email at EducationPlatform@AvoyaTravel.com, prior to completing your Avoya Travel Academy registration payment. First Responders and/or US Military members, Veterans, and their spouses enjoy an additional discount off the cost of Avoya Travel Academy education. First Responder and/or Military discounts are not combinable with any other discount codes or promotions.
Refund Policy: Items purchased on this site include products and services such as memberships, subscriptions, registrations, events, digital courses and resources, textbooks and reference materials, and third party products. Due to the nature of the products and services provided, purchases are non-refundable and non-transferable. In rare cases after completion of the certification, Avoya may determine that you are not a fit for the Avoya Travel Network. If you purchase a bundle that includes Affiliation yet are not invited and approved to join the Avoya Travel Network, we will provide a refund in the amount of $199.00. To request a refund, participants must contact the support team with their enrollment details. If you purchase a bundle that includes affiliation in the Avoya Travel Network, you must agree to the terms and conditions of that program and sign an agreement. This agreement must be signed within 30 days of passing the Certification test. At Avoya’s sole discretion after these 30 days have passed, Avoya may extend a new invitation to be affiliated and will charge a $100 admin fee to reinstate.
3. Course Access and Materials
Access to Materials. Travel Agent Education Certification Course: Participants will receive login credentials to access the online course materials upon successful enrollment. Access to the materials is granted for a period of 100 days from the date of enrollment. Due to the nature of travel and the products and services we provide, you’ll have 100 days to complete the courses and successfully pass the Travel Agent Education Certification Test, if you wish to obtain the Avoya Travel Academy Travel Agent Certification certificate. All purchases are date-specific and therefore must be redeemed and completed within 100 days of purchase. Should you need an extension, changes will result in a $100 30-day extension administrative fee plus any product and service cost differences. Note: The products you originally purchased may no longer be available should you need an extension, so please contact us for the current pricing and offerings. The Travel Agent Education Certification course content is provided in both written and audio format for ease of use and learning, however the Test Your Knowledge Quizzes and the Travel Agent Education Certification Test are only available in written format.
Access to Materials. Specialist Certification Course(s): Participants will receive login credentials to access the online course materials upon successful enrollment. Access to the materials is granted for a period of 60 days from the date of enrollment. Due to the nature of travel and the products and services we provide, you’ll have 60 days to complete the courses and successfully pass the course, if you wish to obtain the Avoya Travel Academy Specialist certificate. All purchases are date-specific and therefore must be redeemed and completed within 60 days of purchase. Should you need an extension, changes will result in a $50 30-day extension administrative fee plus any product and service cost differences. Note: The products you originally purchased may no longer be available should you need an extension, so please contact us for the current pricing and offerings. The Specialist Certification course content is provided in both written and audio format for ease of use and learning, however the Test Your Knowledge Quizzes are only available in written format.
Usage Rights: Course materials are intended for personal use only and is non-transferrable. Participants are prohibited from sharing, distributing, or reproducing the materials without prior written consent from Avoya.
Technical Requirements: Participants must have access to a computer or mobile device with internet connectivity, an updated web browser, and software capable of opening PDF and video files.
4. Program Completion
Assessment Criteria: Participants will be assessed through quizzes, assignments, and a final exam. A minimum score of 70% is required to pass each component and earn certification.
Certification: Upon successful completion of all program requirements, participants will receive a digital certificate.
Recertification: Certification is valid for three years. To maintain certification, participants must complete a recertification course or demonstrate continued professional development in the travel industry.
5. Code of Conduct
Behavior Expectations: Participants are expected to conduct themselves professionally and respectfully throughout the program. This includes engaging constructively in online discussions and adhering to the program’s guidelines.
Disciplinary Actions: Any form of plagiarism, cheating, or disruptive behavior may result in disciplinary action, including dismissal from the program without refund.
6. Intellectual Property
Ownership: All course materials are the intellectual property of the program providers. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of these materials is strictly prohibited.
Usage Rights: Participants are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the course materials for personal educational purposes only.
7. Liability
Limitation of Liability: The program provider is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in the program. The provider’s total liability is limited to the amount paid for the program.
Indemnity: Participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless the program provider from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from their participation in the program.
8. Governing Law
Jurisdiction: These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Florida. Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Dispute Resolution: In the event of a dispute, participants agree to first attempt resolution through mediation. If mediation fails, the dispute will be resolved through binding arbitration.
9. Modifications to Terms
Right to Modify: The program provider reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Participants will be notified of any changes via email and the program’s website.
Notification of Changes: Participants are responsible for regularly reviewing the terms and conditions. Continued participation in the program constitutes acceptance of any changes.
